Eco-dev seminar

The ECODEV doctoral seminar brings together an interdisciplinary collective of PhD students, post-doctoral fellows and teachers-researchers.

The ECODEV doctoral seminar brings together an interdisciplinary collective of PhD students, post-doctoral fellows and teachers-researchers who meet to:

  • share their research topics and questions,
  • reflect together on the positions and approaches of researchers involved in the ecological and social transition,
  • promote transdisciplinarity in the research community.

In 2022 and 2023, participatory and transformative research-action principles were developed through collaborative workshops within the group:

  1. co-identify the starting problem,
  2. combining rigor and DIY,
  3. negotiate an ethical framework accepted by all,
  4. co-build learning paths,
  5. to cultivate reflexive thinking.

The seminar takes place one morning a month in a presentation or at a distance on a specific subject (thesis chapter, scientific article, research project...). It is coordinated by Cécile Renouard (ESSEC & Campus de la Transition) and Valentine Levacque (University of Burgundy).
