Ève CHIAPELLO

Eve Chiapello is Professor at the Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales (EHESS, Paris), where she holds the chair of "sociology of the transformations of capitalism". After developing research on the sociology of management, accounting and management tools, her current work focuses on the penetration of public policies by "financialized" tools, i.e. instruments that are conceptually and technically based on the techno-scientific corpus of modern finance.
